Photoshoot Setup
Guide

To prepare for the photographer's arrival, please have the property ready for photography. Personal                belongings should not be moved by the photographer due to liability insurance restrictions, but boxed

items  can be temporarily relocated within the property for clearer images.

Here are some tips to stage the property effectively and help it sell or lease faster:

       • Turn on all interior lights, including recessed lights, kitchen undercounter lighting, and lamps.

       • Replace non-working lightbulbs with ones of similar brightness.

       • Clear magnets and children's drawings from the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets.

       • Store counter appliances temporarily in boxes.

       • Remove items on top of the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets.

       • Clean stainless steel appliances, hobs, kitchen sinks and faucets.

       • Remove sponges, dish drainers, etc. from kitchen counters.

       • Straighten couch pillows and crooked wall photos.

       • Make beds and fluff pillows; ensure items under beds are hidden.

       • Remove clothes drying racks and items behind couches.

       • Remove bathrobes and clothes hanging on back of doors.

       • Clear bathroom countertops of toothbrush holders, shaving razors, etc.

       • Clean bathroom mirrors to avoid toothbrush residue in photos.

       • Declutter rooms by removing framed family photos.

       • Conceal expensive artwork or jewelry that should not be photographed.

       • Contain pets and hide pet and baby toys, storing in boxes if necessary.

       • Mow the garden and neatly coil up hoses.

       • Remove debris from the front of the home, except for seasonal leaves.

       • Temporarily park vehicles off the driveway or down the street.

       • Place trash cans behind the house, out of sight from the front.

       • Pressure wash driveways or entrance ways if needed.
