Grosvenor Place

A panelled library, a lantern-lit stairwell and ornate plasterwork in a Belgravia period office. Shot to show the detail without losing the light.

A period office building on Grosvenor Place, behind an ornate stone facade. Inside, the rooms are full of detail: a timber-panelled library with a crystal chandelier, a boardroom with a large painting at its end, an open office on parquet floors, and a red-carpeted staircase rising to a skylight.

Rooms like these are easy to overexpose or flatten. We balanced the light from the tall windows against the chandeliers and lamps so the plasterwork, panelling and parquet keep their depth. The set covers the facade, library, boardroom, offices, reception desk and stairwell.
